Peter Smith has been part of the Random Dialogues story for a number of years.

In 2022, he contributed a blog called “Protecting Our Pollinators” and in 2023 spoke at Random Dialogues 34 about “The Ashley-Pitt Guide to Pollinator Friendly Planting”.

Peter responded to last week’s update to tell me about his latest talk taking place in Guildford:

Magical Mushrooms & Fabulous Fungi - Learn about why we wouldn’t be here at all without fungi and how fungi might just help us save the planet.

I always love hearing where previous Random Dialogues conversations have led.

Thank you Peter!

I’ve been thinking for a while about creating a monthly Random Dialogues virtual gathering for past speakers, viewers and friends of Random Dialogues.

A relaxed, facilitated hour to share ideas, explore work in progress, bounce things around, get feedback and support each other.

Would you be interested?

If so, I’ve added a quick poll at the end of this newsletter, I’d really appreciate you ticking your preference and helping me shape what happens next.

Is happening next Thursday 10th September, from 7pm to 8pm and I have two speaker spaces available.

Got something you could talk about for six minutes? An idea, experience, passion, project or simply something you think might spark an interesting conversation? Come and give it a go.

Respond to this update to let me know, or complete this form. Past speakers very welcome too.

By the way, if you missed last month’s Random Dialogues speakers, you can learn from them here.

Some of you may remember Claire Whittaker,  who joined us at Random Dialogues 34 and introduced us to Somatic Breathwork.

Claire has created a free 6-minute Morning Somatic Breathwork Practice on YouTube.

It’s designed to give you a few minutes at the beginning of the day to pause, settle, breathe and think about how you want to approach the day ahead.

If you fancy starting your morning a little differently, you can try it here

And congratulations Claire on getting your first recording out into the world!

Depending on which platforms you can access, I’ve pasted the poll on LinkedIn and Facebook - if that doesn’t work for you let me know.

Apparently, I could embed a poll directly into this Beehiiv newsletter, but that would mean upgrading to a paid plan for this and lots of other lovely functions.

One day Rodney

How about you?

Please do send me your news.
