On Monday, the Archbishop of Canterbury delivered a talk, on ‘ethical leadership and business success’. There was a particular focus on the power of community, and a discussion on how to use town centres in more creative and effective ways.

I even got to speak with him, and tweeted a pic HERE

Beforehand, I'd had a nose around his website and noted he too had lived for a while in Tanzania. We exchanged a brief random dialogue about our experience there and he asked his photographer to take a snap of us together.

Later in the week, I showed some children I work with his video. The Kenyan school scene, close to the start, is poignant.

Most of us have too much stuff. Life could be simpler.

Onto the being more wealthy bit.

Obviously, it's also a state of mind, a focus on abundance, gratitude for what we already have.

Plus getting rid of the excess.

A lottery win would of course make it even better.

Last night, I went through my bank account and cancelled a few direct debits. What a relief to do this.

The £3 monthly subscription to the WWF for "Eric The Adopted Penguin" almost ended too. This would be treading on ice.🌍

This month, I'll be 50 and have decided on my next adventure - an electric bike.🚴‍♀️ Research has taken me from a Halfords £1400 'that'll do but a bit expensive bike', to almost £3,000 from the electic bike shop. It's possible to go for a "bike scheme allowance", upon closer inspection, it isn't such a deal.

I was wealthier for a while.
