Have You Seen This?

One circular creation, which shows off views of Borrowdale Valley, is thought to be crafted from pieces of slate local to the area. Photographer Carl Halliday took a picture of the piece, which has gained a lot of attention online. Thanks Jonathan

Storytelling For Gaia

The kids on a mission to help heal nature through rewilding. Find out more about how they are transforming where they live and all about rewilding:

Meanwhile, here in Guildford, Ruth has a yurt in her garden which she's opened up for community use. This week we gathered together to discuss our first village wellness festival.

We also started conversations about rewilding the local area.

"To speak fluently, you have to connect your words and here is a great tip for connecting vowel sounds. If a word ends with /eee/ or /i/ and the next word begins with a vowel sound, we insert a /y/. Try it! You’ll sound better!

Baking With Cath

"The kids eat so much raw cake batter that I like to throw a savoury bake in at times just to sneak extra veg into their cake-filled diets" 😬😆

These scones are a delicious savoury treat. The sweet potato adds moisture and fluffiness and the mature cheddar gives a fab flavour kick! Recipe here

Thoughts For The Week

"Personal change needs some space to happen. To bring something new into your life, you need somewhere to put it. If your current habits are filling your day, where are these new habits supposed to go? The English word “quit” comes from old French, meaning “to free” or “to release”.
