Every voice holds a spark. Sometimes it’s hidden, waiting. Sometimes it’s messy, uncertain. But when we follow our passions and dare to speak from that place, something shifts in us, and in the people who hear us. That’s what Random Dialogues has always been about: discovering those sparks and letting them fly.

At Random Dialogues 31, Christine Clacey declared: “The Beetle Made Me Do It.” Not just the beetle, of course, but that nudge to pause, to notice, and to ask bigger questions about purpose. 

Last week, I finally got to meet Christine in Cornwall, where we walked her gorgeous dog, shared a proper pasty, and let the conversation wander just as freely:

Back at Random Dialogues 23 in 2023, Yvette Masure shared her talk “Sound Frequency Healing Through Tuning Forks & Tibetan Singing Bowls,” and since then, she’s written 55 articles for this newsletter.

Her words are now gathering themselves into an e-book.

They’ve been weaving themselves into my writing and pictures, and they echo what Christine and Yvette both embody in their own ways:
