It Was My Friend Simon's Funeral
Random Dialogues 24.5.24 6:08 am (ish)
Except he was well and truly alive.
Simon demonstrated just how beautiful, bespoke and gentle a funeral can be at a natural burial ground.
Most people have never attended a burial, as cremation is popular. A “natural burial ground” is also quite different from a cemetery.
Simon encouraged us to create a funeral plan as it will make it much less painful for our loved ones when the time comes.
His funeral was at Clandon Wood where my father rests among the wildflowers, trees, and grass (see #thinkpurplefeelgood).
THIS short video reel I created about Simon’s mock funeral has over 20,000 views, although some of my colleagues were confused!

“Cross-Over“ into the unfamiliar.
Perceptions. The cloud or the silver lining?
The unfamiliar is uncertain.
It may not meet our expectations.
However. When we relinquish ‘all control’, and trust in Life itself, to our higher self, then we could be able to make changes we want to make, and even be nicely surprised.
We could then even ‘feel’ younger …which is the main intention in the quest for immortality.
How we ‘feel’ is so important.
What we think and what we say creates each day.

⚡The Artist Living in the Shadows 🎨
Right, here goes. I’m gonna be controversial…
I like King Charlie's portrait by one of our greatest living portrait artists, Johnathan Yeo.
If I could only paint one brushstroke as good as his I would be a very happy man.

Random Dialogues with Zoe Franklin:
“It’s been a busy ol’ day but starting the day with door knocking in Burpham with Cllr Jane Tyson was a great way to start it!
Many people today said thank you for knocking because they felt it shows I mean what I say about being someone who cares and listens.”
