The World Inside Your Head
Your brain chemically reacts to frequency, vibration, and tone as well. These chemical triggers can dramatically alter mood, perceptions, and even address neurological and emotional ailments.
Neuroscientists are recently discovering that a slower sound beat can synchronise the delta brainwave (which aids in falling asleep) and that your brain takes in the world - much of which is outside of our awareness.
Cognitive neuroscientists believe that only about 5% of our mental activity is conscious to us. The rest of our experience lives below what we are actively thinking.
For example, when walking into a room, we do not consciously appreciate all that our bodies are reacting to - temperature, smell, lighting, textures. We are all interconnected with our environment, whether we are aware of it or not.
We are all interconnected with, and a part of, everything around us. We are inseparable from our environment.
Our senses lay the foundation for how and why the arts and aesthetics offer the perfect path to amplify our health and well-being. Our sensory inputs are constantly working.
So, what is actually happening to our brain as these stimuli come in?
